SoWa scientists are now installing a ThermoFisher Scientific MAT253 Plus Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometer with continuous flow connections to four peripheral instruments for determining stable isotope ratios of carbon, nitrogen, sulfur, oxygen, and hydrogen in solid, liquid, gas, and molecular samples. The new instrumentation will enable scientists to explore and constrain the flow of these life-essential elements through cellular, ecological, and environmental systems.
