I am postdoc fellow at the Institute of environmental studies, Faculty of Science, Charles University of Prague with the supervision of Prof. Jan Frouz. I have long-term work experiences as a PhD student at the Institute of Soil Biology in České Budějovice, Czech Academy of Sciences and Faculty of science in Charles University in Prague. My main research interest is pedogenesis and environmental impact assessments on soil development in disturbed areas (post mining sites, opened mine heaps). I am focused on soil carbon accumulation and sequestration, dynamics of soil C, N, P, litter quality and distribution of C in different soil carbon pools and its microbial diversity.
I have participated on many projects in Sokolov, where I helped with preparing new research sites and participated on research realizations.
Besides my scientific activities I was always interested in communication and cooperation with young BSc and MSc students, supervised their laboratory work and teaching at the Charles University of Prague.
