I am a scientist at SoWa RI, Czech Academy of Sciences and at Faculty of Science, University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. I am trained in molecular biology methods, using them in research of population genetics and phylogeography. Recently, I am focused on using environmental DNA (eDNA) in assessment of fish communities in inland lakes. I supervise or co-supervise three students (Bsc, Msc and PhD).
2014-2017 Postdoctoral grant (14-26060P GA ČR) “Comparative phylogegraphy of southeastern South America based on freshwater fishes”. Principal investigator (PI).
