I am a limnologist with experience in phytoplankton ecology. Now, I am a postdoc fellow at the Institute of Hydrobiology, BC CAS, and I am also involved in SoWa Research Infrastructure. My long-term research interests lie in seasonal and spatial heterogeneity of phytoplankton in reservoirs. My other important research interests are ecophysiology of phytoplankton studied using various fluorescence techniques and also fungal parasites of phytoplankton. I have participated in several Czech and international projects so far. I am a member of Czech Limnological Society and a reviewer for scientific journals. It is also my pleasure to be a lector in the educational project of the Czech Academy of Sciences called Open Science which opens access for students to scientific and research workplaces via student internship.
